About Ed

Edward D. Laird, Jr. concentrates his legal practice on the defense of transportation, product liability, medical malpractice, and other liability claims. He defends various transportation companies, commercial carriers, and manufacturers of aircraft, gas products, and sports equipment in State and Federal Courts throughout New York and Vermont.

In addition, Ed has successfully defended lawsuits on behalf of physicians and hospitals in various medical specialties including obstetrics, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, general surgery, ophthalmology and critical care. He represents physicians before the State of New York Department of Health, Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC). Ed has also represented other health care professionals, accountants, attorneys, engineers, and clergy in professional liability claims.
