Thomas A. Capezza will be a featured speaker at the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section Spring Meeting in Orlando, Florida on April 12, 2018.
Members of the Cyberspace Law Committee will be presenting on regional regulations that impact businesses nationally, including Tom’s presentation on how the New York State Department of Financial Services rules on cybersecurity requirements are impacting financial services companies. The meeting will be open to all business law professionals, including business lawyers, business law judges, young lawyers, and in-house counsel from across the country.
The ABA Cyberspace Law Committee provides a forum for the analysis of corporate, transactional and regulatory issues related to the internet and digital technologies. They focus on privacy, information security and cybersecurity; e-commerce, online contracting and international trade; electronic banking, online financial transactions, and payments; intellectual property protection in the digital world; and mobile/telecommunications, digital media and Internet infrastructure and governance.
