James A. Resila Successful Before NYSDHR on Behalf of Dental Organization

By:

Attorney James A. Resila obtained a favorable Determination and Order After Investigation from the New York State Division of Human Rights on behalf of his client, an dental organization.

The Complainant, an employee of Mr. Resila’s client, filed a Complaint with the New York Division of Human Rights alleging that Mr. Resila’s client unlawfully discriminated against her based on age and disability in violation of N.Y. Exec. Law, Art. 15 (Human Rights Law).

After investigation by the Division of Human Rights, it was found that there was insufficient evidence and no probable cause to believe that Mr. Resila’s client had engaged in or was engaging in the unlawful discriminatory practices as alleged, and the Complaint was dismissed in its entirety.

Mr. Resila is a Director with Carter Conboy, and practices in the fields of civil rights, the defense of medical, dental and general negligence claims, and appellate law.
