Carter Conboy’s Michelle A. Storm was a featured speaker at the NYSBA Program “Premises Liability 2019: Issues and Considerations” held in Albany, NY, on October 4, 2019. The program concentrated on information-specific laws in New York State regarding the various and numerous incidents that result in premises liability.
Michelle spoke on “Discovery: Proof and Problems,” which focused on the preservation of evidence, including video, CCTV, cell phones, and government video collection, as well as depositions and the use of expert witnesses, and authentication and hearsay issues involving social media evidence.
