Michael J. Murphy Speaks on Joint Employer Relationships

Attorney Michael J. Murphy was a featured speaker at “Who is Considered a Joint Employer?”, a seminar presented by the Insurance Law, Labor & Employment, and Professional Liability practice groups of ALFA International in New York, New York, which was held from June 8-10, 2016.
Mr. Murphy’s panel included seasoned litigators and experienced insurance claims professionals from across the United States. They discussed recent joint employer case law developments including who is considered a joint employer in franchise relationships, whether staffing firms or temporary agencies are entitled to indemnity, and best practices for employers to avoid being considered a joint employer.
