Michael J. Murphy Speaks on Ethics

Attorney Michael J. Murphy recently spoke at a continuing legal education seminar presented by ALFA International, the Global Legal Network. The seminar Ethics and Best Practices for Handling and Resolving Litigation was held February 7, 2013 in New York City. Mr. Murphy spoke on Key Factors to Determine Whether and When to File Substantive Motions.
The ALFA International seminar panel consisted of seasoned litigators and experienced claims executives from across the United States who addressed ethical, legal, practical and strategy issues that often arise both before and after litigation commences. The speakers offered their perspectives on best practices for handling and resolving claims and disputes that involve risks and matters for which insurance coverage is or may be available.
Carter Conboy served as the accredited New York State Continuing Legal Education provider to participants of the seminar.
Michael J. Murphy is a partner at Albany’s Carter Conboy. Mr. Murphy is a trial attorney handling complex litigation with an emphasis on employment law. He maintains an active trial practice in state and federal courts as well as before the EEOC and the New York State Division for Human Rights.
