Mackenzie C. Monaco Elected Treasurer of Capital District Trial Lawyers Association

Mackenzie C. Monaco has been elected to a one-year term as Treasurer of the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association (CDTLA). Ms. Monaco has served on CDTLA’s Board of Directors since 2011.
The CDTLA is an accredited provider of New York State attorney continuing legal education focusing on personal injury litigation topics. The organization provides monthly one hour CLE classes and annually hosts a dinner recognizing an outstanding trial lawyer and trial judge with the Daniel Mahoney Memorial Award and the Honorable Edward S. Conway Judicial Excellence Award.
Ms. Monaco is a Director at Carter Conboy. She litigates in the fields of personal and premises liability, medical malpractice, labor law, product liability, and environmental law. She also provides clients with insurance coverage analysis and litigates coverage disputes. Ms. Monaco has represented physicians, hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities, as well as commercial retailers, contractors and private individuals. Ms. Monaco has lectured on numerous topics including insurance coverage, indemnification issues, and construction/work-site, automobile and medical malpractice litigation. She graduated cum laude from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. degree and graduated summa cum laude from Albany Law School in 2004.
