Trial Win for James A. Resila in Orthodontic Malpractice Action

Director James A. Resila recently obtained a defense verdict in an orthodontic malpractice action venued in Albany County Supreme Court. The plaintiff, who was 14-15 at the time of the alleged malpractice, claimed that Mr. Resila’s client, an orthodontist, committed malpractice, causing her to lose her upper front six permanent teeth.
After a jury trial, the jury found that the plaintiff had no cause of action against Mr. Resila’s client and dismissed the plaintiff’s case.
