Christopher J. Watt Successful Before NYSDHR on Behalf of Construction Company


Attorney Christopher J. Watt obtained a favorable Determination and Order from the New York State Division of Human Rights on behalf of his clients, a local construction company owner and its employees.

The Complainant, an employee of said construction company, filed a Complaint with the New York Division of Human Rights alleging unlawful discriminatory practice relating to his employment due to his race/color in violation of N.Y. Exec. Law, Art. 15 (Human Rights Law), specifically that he was subjected to a hostile work environment and was terminated from his employment due to his race/color.

After investigation by the Division of Human Rights, it was found that there was insufficient evidence and no probable cause to believe Mr. Watt’s clients had and is engaging in the unlawful discriminatory practices as alleged, and the Complaint was dismissed in its entirety.
