Adam H. Cooper and Mackenzie C. Monaco Speak on Medical Malpractice at NYSBA Seminar

Adam H. Cooper and Mackenzie C. Monaco were featured speakers at the New York State Bar Association seminar “Medical Malpractice Litigation 2016.” The seminar was held on April 14, 2016 in Albany, New York and was sponsored by three sections of the New York State Bar Association: Trial Lawyers Section; Torts, Insurance and Compensation Section; and Committee on Continuing Legal Education Section.
The program provided an overview of key issues in medical malpractice litigation through a combination of lectures and practical demonstrations, including the relevant standard of care, preparing your case, how to avoid common pitfalls, and how to examine expert witnesses. Mr. Cooper was the Local Chair of the program and spoke on issues related to depositions, while Ms. Monaco addressed issues related to discovery in medical malpractice claims.
