Law Students

Carter Conboy has established relationships with many prominent law schools where we actively recruit for part-time spring and fall interns, as well as full-time summer positions.

In 2000, Carter Conboy became a founding member of the Albany Bar Association’s Diversity Internship Program.  The program was established to broaden the opportunities for minority law students at Albany Law School.  The program has since received awards from both the New York State Bar Association and American Bar Association. Our internship program has become an integral part of our associate recruiting process. It is designed to provide interns with an introduction to a variety of legal experiences including collaborating with our attorneys and clients, legal research and writing, and exposure to the legal system outside of our four walls. 

Our goal is to provide potential associate attorneys with a realistic view of our Firm and to provide our Firm with comprehensive and tangible insight into a candidate’s merit.
