Our team of employment lawyers represents corporate defendants in employment-related matters throughout the Northeast. We place strong emphasis on preventative action to reduce future liability. Our experienced team assists both employers and employees with discrimination, equal opportunity, and affirmative action issues, disability claims, personnel policies and practices, OSHA disputes, unemployment benefits and Workers' Compensation claims, employee discipline and termination, and union-related matters.

We provide counseling and training assistance to employers and management personnel and assist employers in all areas of employee relations issues, including employment contracts, confidentiality, non-competition contracts, and voluntary separation agreements. As part of our focus on preventative measures, we advise on corrective action to lessen liability and review and help prepare employee handbooks, policy and procedure manuals, and sexual harassment policies.

Our attorneys represent clients in state and federal administrative proceedings, defend alternative dispute resolutions, and defend claims in courts throughout New York. The defense of workplace-related disputes includes civil rights actions, breaches of contract, wrongful discharge, and other employment tort claims.
