Michael J. Murphy, Chief Operating Officer of Carter Conboy, was elected Vice-Chairperson/Chairperson Elect of ALFA International, The Global Legal Network, (“ALFA”) on October 22, 2009, in Chicago. In this position, Mr. Murphy’s duties will include service on ALFA’s Executive Committee, interaction with ALFA practice groups, as well as representing the organization at ALFA events and in meetings with clients and other legal organizations including the International Bar Association and the Association of European Attorneys.
