Carter Conboy is pleased to announce that Michael J. Catalfimo, Esq. has been elected to the Executive Committee of the firm’s Board of Directors and will become the firm’s Chief Operating Officer in 2011. Mr. Catalfimo joined Carter Conboy as a Director and Shareholder in 2006, after eighteen years as a partner in the Washington County law firm of Catalfimo & Catalfimo, LLP.
Mr. Catalfimo currently concentrates his practice in the fields of Creditors Rights, Commercial Law, Business and Property Litigation, Family Law, General Civil Litigation and Estate Planning and Administration.
He received his law degree in 1985 from Boston College Law School (Magna Cum Laude; Order of the Coif) and his undergraduate degree in 1982 from Skidmore College (All College Honors; Phi Beta Kappa). Mr. Catalfimo is admitted to the Bars of the State, Federal and Bankruptcy Courts of New York and Massachusetts.
He is active in a variety of professional organizations, and is a past-president of the Washington County Bar Association and immediate past-president of the Federation of Bar Associations of the Fourth Judicial District.
