Director Jessica A. Desany was one of the featured presenters at the New York State Bar Association’s “Law School for Claims Professionals” seminar on October 30, 2009. The seminar was designed to provide insurance industry professionals and their counsel with an overview of premises liability, automobile liability, notice, and subrogation issues. Mrs. Desany discussed recent updates and changes in New York State’s Insurance Law, specifically regarding issues surrounding Notice, Late Notice, and Disclaimers, focusing on legislative changes in New York State’s “No Prejudice” rule and their effect on the insurance industry.
