Director Jessica A. Desany was the co-moderator of a recent panel for ALFA International, the Global Legal Network, which held its 2010 Seminar on Employer Liability: Stemming the Rising Tide, June 16 through 18, 2010, in New York City. The panel, The Tripartite Alliance—Building an Effective Alliance, discussed EPLI (Employment Practices Liability Insurance) claims. The panel discussed the ethical considerations involved in the relationship between an insurer, its insured, and the counsel retained by the insurer to represent the insured as a defendant in litigation related to an EPLI claim.
