In celebration of its 90th year, the law firm of Carter Conboy has announced a gift of 90 items per quarter to four Capital Region nonprofits. For the third quarter of 2010, the law firm made a monetary donation to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York’s Kids Cafe® program, which provides free meals and snacks to low-income children. Kids Cafe®, a program of Feeding America, was founded in 1993 in response to the glaring need to combat childhood hunger.
“The hungry children who receive hot meals at the Kids Cafe® are thankful for Carter Conboy’s donation, as are we at the Regional Food Bank” states Linda Comstock, the Director of Major Gifts & Special Projects at the Regional Food Bank.
Carter Conboy’s Chief Operating Officer, Michael J. Murphy commented, “Thank you to the Regional Food Bank for providing children in our community with a safe place to get the essential food and nutrition necessary to advance the fight against childhood hunger.”
