William J. Decaire, Jessica A. Desany, and James A. Resila Speak to the Upstate New York RIMS Chapter

On November 17, 2009, Directors William J. Decaire, Jessica A. Desany, and James A. Resila spoke to the Upstate New York RIMS Chapter in Rochester, New York.  Mr. Decaire discussed the updated reporting process and legal implications of Medicare Section 111 as it applies to Risk Management Professionals.  Mrs. Desany presented on Insurance Law updates, as well as methods for challenging insurance coverage denials as well as preventive measures for ensuring that insurance coverage is in place before a triggering occurrence, to avoid a potential denial of coverage in the future.  Mr. Resila spoke to the Chapter on the preservation of evidence and preparing for corporate depositions.
