Leah Walker Casey Successful Against Plaintiffs' Appeal of a William D. Yoquinto Defense Verdict

Leah Walker Casey successfully argued against the plaintiffs' appeal that the jury verdict in a medical malpractice case was based on the fair and reasonable interpretation of the credible evidence presented at trial. The Appellate Division agreed and affirmed the judgment of dismissal obtained at trial by William D. Yoquinto in Schenectady County. In the case, plaintiff claimed that labor and delivery of a child was mismanaged and that the infant plaintiff’s brachial plexus palsy and disability were caused as a result. The jury deliberated for two days before finding for the defendant.
