Michael J. Murphy was installed as President of the Federal Court Bar Association for the Northern District of New York.  Mr. Murphy was installed as President at the annual meeting and dinner held on December 4, 2008. The Federal Court Bar Association for the Northern District of New York was founded in 2003 to provide educational and social opportunities for the bar and bench. The organization has more than 500 members.
