Leah Walker Casey is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, where she received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and History. She earned a J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University in 2003, graduating with honors. While in law school, she was the Legislative Assistant for New York State Assembly Member Audrey I. Pheffer. She served as Associate Editor of the Albany Law Review and was actively involved in the Moot Court Program, serving first as a team member and then as a coach of the Constitutional Law Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Team. Ms. Casey also participated in the American Inns of Court.

Ms. Casey practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation including personal and premises liability, civil rights, and insurance law. She is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and Capital District Women's Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
