PROFILE
Luke S. Malamood graduated from Villanova University, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Humanities & Augustinian Traditions. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree at Albany Law School of Union University.
While in law school, Mr. Malamood received the Best Oral Advocate Award in the 2009 Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Competition. He also competed and advanced in the 2010 Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trials Competition.
In 2010, Mr. Malamood clerked for the City of Albany, Office of the Corporation Counsel, and was a judicial intern with the Third Judicial District, Town and Villages Unit. In 2009, he completed an internship and a clinical placement with the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Malamood is admitted to practice in the State of New York. He focuses his practice in the field of civil litigation, primarily involving the defense of medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, and personal injury liability claims.
