John T. Maloney is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Since his admission to the Bar in 1974, Mr. Maloney has concentrated his practice on the defense of medical malpractice, professional and products liability. He has successfully defended physicians, hospitals and other medical professionals in numerous cases involving a wide range of specialty fields including neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery, obstetrics, orthopaedics, plastic surgery and cardiology both at trials and before state disciplinary boards. He has also defended products ranging from lawnmowers to trucks and toxic torts claims from asbestos to paint.

Mr. Maloney has lectured extensively on Trial Practice to State and local bar groups. He serves on the National Trial Competition Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers and as a Master in the Albany Law School Chapter of the American Inns of Court.

Mr. Maloney is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and earned his J.D. degree from Albany Law School. He was admitted to practice in New York in 1974, U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York (1974) and U.S. Supreme Court (1984). He is a member of the Albany County, Rensselaer County, New York State and American Bar Associations, the American Society of Law and Medicine and the Defense Research Institute.
