James Blackmore graduated with honors from Colgate University in 1965 and from Albany Law School of Union University in 1968. Since joining the Carter Conboy firm in 1968, he has concentrated his practice in the areas of insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
Mr. Blackmore has authored several articles and has lectured extensively for the New York State Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute on insurance coverage issues, including bad faith, antisubrogation, uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage and no-fault insurance coverage.
He also maintains an active real estate practice which includes the representation of commercial lenders, real estate developers and brokers.
