Erica L. Putnam graduated cum laude from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, in 2002, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in both American Studies and Criminal Justice. Ms. Putnam also minored in Women's Studies. Ms. Putnam received her J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University, graduating cum laude in 2006. While attending Albany Law, Ms. Putnam was the Managing Editor for Research and Writing for the Environmental Outlook Journal, a Marshal in the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and was involved with Moot Court. In addition, Ms. Putnam is a member of the Justinian Society.

Ms. Putnam is admitted to practice in the state of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. Ms Putnam focuses her practice on civil defense litigation, primarily in the areas of medical malpractice, premises liability, and personal injury.
