James M. Conboy is a former Director and President of the firm. Mr. Conboy is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He received his B.A. from St. Michael's College and his LL.B. from New York Law School. He was admitted to the New York State bar in 1958 and was an active trial lawyer for approximately 45 years, specializing in the defense of medical malpractice and serious negligence cases. Although retired, he still maintains his license to practice and discusses cases with members of the firm.
While practicing, Mr. Conboy was a member of the Albany County, New York State and American Bar Associations, as well as the Defense Research Institute.
In 2004, Mr. Conboy received the New York State Bar Association’s Award for Attorney Professionalism.
