William J. Decaire practices primarily in the field of civil litigation where he represents clients in the defense of personal injury, professional malpractice, civil rights, municipal and products liability actions. He also serves as a deputy attorney for a number of municipalities for whom he negotiates employment, land use and service contracts, defends Article 7 proceedings, drafts local legislation and provides legal advice on a range of governmental, business and litigation issues. Mr. Decaire also represents businesses and individuals before local courts, state agencies, professional associations and municipal boards.
Mr. Decaire is admitted to practice law in New York and Massachusetts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for both states. He is a member of the Bar Associations of Albany County, Saratoga County, New York State, and the Northern District of New York. Additionally, For Carter Conboy, Mr. Decaire serves as coordinator for the firm’s in-house CLE programs, as well as its point of contact for its membership in the New York State Motor Truck Association, Upstate RIMS Association, and the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce.
