Brian D. Carr practices in the field of civil litigation, primarily involving the defense of products liability, professional malpractice, premises liability, and personal injury liability claims.
Mr. Carr graduated cum laude from St. Lawrence University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He graduated with a Master of Business Administration in 2001 from Loyola University of Chicago, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. While at Albany Law School law school Mr. Carr was a Finalist, and winner of the Best Oral Advocate Award, in the 2004 Domenick Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition. In the Spring of 2005, Mr. Carr was the recipient of the David A. Wanger Memorial Award for Excellence in Advocacy. Mr. Carr was a Competitor in the 2005 University of Cincinnati National Products Liability Moot Court Competition, and in 2006 he was the Team Coach for that competition. Mr. Carr was selected to compete on behalf of Albany Law School at the ATLA National Trial Competition in Philadelphia, PA, and was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers. He also served as a Chairman on the Moot Court Board. Mr. Carr is an FAA licensed commercial pilot with instrument and multi-engine ratings.
