Kathleen McCaffrey Baynes practices primarily in litigation, particularly in the areas of premises liability (commercial/retail and residential); personal injury; leasing and related contractual and insurance coverage issues; construction and Labor Law; interpretation, application and coverage under liability, disability and life insurance policies and annuities; pollution/Navigation Law claims, and professional liability. Her practice encompasses all aspects of litigation, including trial, appeals, arbitration, mediation and administrative proceedings, about which she has lectured on local, regional and national levels. Mrs. Baynes currently serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and chairs the firm’s attorney recruitment, hiring, and retention programs.

Mrs. Baynes is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame du Lac, where she received a Bachelor of the Arts degree in the Program of Liberal Studies, and a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University.

Mrs. Baynes is admitted to the bars of New York State and the United States District Court, Northern District of New York, Western District of New York, and Southern District of New York and is a member of the New York State and Albany County Bar Associations.
