Susanna L. Martin was a member of the firm since 1988 and retired from Carter Conboy in June 2009.
Mrs. Martin had extensive experience in medical malpractice and health-care litigation and also represented manufacturers of medical devices in product liability cases. During her more than twenty years of experience with Carter Conboy, Mrs. Martin tried many cases to verdict as well as handled arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings. Mrs. Martin lectured and gave seminars to various bar associations and members of the health care industry.
She is a member of the New York State Bar and is admitted to practice before the State Courts of New York and the United States District Courts of the Northern and Southern Districts of New York, as well as the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mrs. Martin iss a member of the Medical Malpractice Committee of the Defense Research Institute, the American Bar Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Health Lawyer Association, and ALFA International.
